Shortest Man in the World dies at Age 75.

The man known to be the shortest man that as ever lived is dead.


According to Guinness World Records(GWR), Chandra Bahadur Dangi, the shortest man in the world was 21.5 inches tall before his death in an American Samoa hospital on Thursday, at 75 years.

The Kathmandu Post reported that the Nepal native was suffering from pneumonia when he was admitted to the hospital last week.

The title was given to Dangi in 2012 when the rumour of him being 2inches shorter than the then recorder holder, a 23.5inche man in the Philippines 23.5inches

“Guinness World Records  would like to express its sincere and heartfelt condolences to Mr. Dangi’s family in this difficult time, he will be remembered forever as an iconic and extraordinary record holder.”

Until his death, Dangi was a proud  title holder enjoyed representing his home country.
