The death of a professor in Delta State University in Mississippi, has brought the entire school under lock, as the professor was shot and the killer remain unknown.
The victim is identified as Ethan Schmidt, was an assistant professor of American history before he was was gunned down in a campus building.
However, no student was injured in the shooting, which occurred in Jobe hall.
According to Reuters; A geography and
social science instructor at Mississippi's Delta State University was
named a "person of interest" in the fatal campus shooting of a history
professor on Monday, police said.
Everyone remains edgy because of the unknown identity of the shooter. And nearby public schools has also been locked down not to get in the way of police investigation.
An investigation should be carried out I believe soon the culprit will be apprehended
