This Day Prayer Focus: Lord Teach me not to Chase Tomorrow.

Matthew 6:34; Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

Proverbs 12:25; Heaviness in the heart of man maketh it stoop: but a good word maketh it glad.

Life we know is in phases, there's a time for everything. And in all existence, no man can withhold the blessings of the Lord over our lives. It's important to live life knowing our tomorrow has been taken care of by God. The worry over our past and the fear of what tomorrow might bring is the easiest way to loose the joy 'today' offers. "One day at a time sweet Jesus is all I'm asking from you" a song writer once wrote because she understands the importance of focusing on the present.

The truth is, it doesn't matter what you feel about yesterday because its gone or does it matter if you worry so much about what tomorrow will bring because, it won't stop the sun from rising in all of its splendour.  if you trust in God, all will be well, no matter what the devil tries to make us believe, God is still on the Throne.

 Let us Pray
Steps to follow
- sing songs of thanksgiving (praise and worship) for God deserves our praise. Psalm 5:11
- study the following scriptures Luke 12:24-34, John 14:24, psalm 55:22.
- then make your supplication known to God; Ask for grace to appreciate the present and love Him daily, beginning and ending with thanksgiving.

 Intercession

1 Timothy 2:1 First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people.

Look around you and pray for peace in our nation and amongst men. Psalm 122:6

Now I beseech you, brethren, for the Lord Jesus Christ's sake, and for the love of the Spirit, that ye strive together with me in [your] prayers to God for me; Romans 15:30.

Do have a fruit bearing day "and don't forget life is worth living and people worth loving." Cheers!
