Dilemma of Being Single at 30years: The Kind of Birthday Messages you may Get.

Its being quite a long time on Ono Pink Journal weekly series on dilemma of being single at 30years and above. But I decided to write something this week because of the kind of birthday wishes I noticed singles above 30 usually receive during birthday's celebration. There are words which appear in the messages but having the same meaning. And you can also read "dilemma of being single at 30years: the kind of church programmes you get invited to."

Humans I love us! We are so quick to identify with what's lacking in a man's life that we forget to celebrate that which God has blessed him/her with. Birthday is all about celebrating God's blessings over one's life and that day should be special but hey! If one is single at 30, the wishes sometimes may end up making that day feel like a funeral. Never mind as long as it turns out to be the death of the enemies laughter. I think I'm going on a merry go round, so let's read some of the messages, maybe you can single out the words I'm referring to. But, you must know and do not dispute the fact, that the senders of the messages may sincerely mean well and care about your progress.

 - Happy birthday to my lovely friend, may God of wonder double, double u in Jesus name.

- Happy birthday to you, may God bless and increase you like never before.

- As you celebrate another year, people shall gather to celebrate your increase. Happy birthday.

- Happy birthday, this year will bring celebration and increase your way. Have fun.

- Birthday celebration marks the beginning of a new year, as you celebrate your new age, all things shall be made new and your increase will never ceased. I see God elevating you. Enjoy your day.
And such and such messages keep duplicating itself :), so much for birthday wishes. But never loose hope if you're single at 30, God is still on throne and fulfilling His words Isaiah 34:16.

Thanks for stopping by, cheers!

  1. Lol! Humans are too eager to point out what is missing in your life and too slow to celebrate the blessings in it. I find myself in that position right now, and i am learning to quickly remind them that i am blessed regardless of what seems to be missing.
