Walking Sticks and Bedpans: The Tools Needed to do the Job.

Many years ago, I read an hilarious story about some nuns working in a hospital but ran out of gas on their way to work one morning. Fortunately, there was a filling station close by but no gas container. Suddenly, one of them remembered keeping a bedpan in the car trunk and quickly rushed to get it. They filled the pan with gasoline and carried it back to fill the car tank carefully. Two men, driving past stared at them in complete disbelief. And one couldn't help say to the other "now! That's what I call faith." It appeared to be strange when the nuns speed past the men on the freeway. And they were greatly surprised at the work of God via the nuns faith in Him (Hebrews 11:6).

Sometime in May, Nigerians went crazy when former governor of Edo state  Comrade Oshomole got married to his Model bride. Trust naija people; we no get chill  O! Be careful When Someone Say to you "I knew you when...."

Ever told someone about a "Big Dream" of yours? What was their reaction? Laugh you to scorn or tell you "Abeg come down to Earth that's impossible!". Yes we all have Dreams that we once pursued or at least attempted to pursue. In life you must understand that; your decision to step out and follow God's will put pressure on others. And the first place you'll feel it will be amongst those closest to you; that man and woman you grew up with playing kelekele (hide&seek), tenten in the village square (a game of trying to match legs position differently) and oh! Running around with just a piece of pant, climbing trees to pluck fruits. Its more difficult for them to understand, especially if your calling sets you apart and takes you to a higher level. It'll take a lot of courage to remain firm, even when you're mocked.

There's a time in most ladies lives when an eclipse will occur. Oh you thought eclipse only occurs with earthly objects? The Dread of not Knowing What to do With Your Dream(s).

Whenever I watch the movie "pretty woman" I always look forward to the black man (whoever he is) speech at the end which says: "welcome to Hollywood, the land of dreams, some dreams come true, some don't but keep on dreaming." Such powerful words to keep you pressing hard to achieve your dreams. Sometimes, your dream(s) is(are) on the tip of your fingers, but you need to find a way to roll it into a firm grip of your hands. And before that is achieved, you wake up to find someone else living your dream. Yeah! That doesn't mean you've got to give up on what is already close to be held. There's always a different way to get things done or how else do you explain the different talk shows interviewing the same set of people over and over again, or the radio/tv/blogs writing and talking about the same news under different headlines, yet! We still manage to get fascinated any time we read or watch a different set of view.
