The Singles World

The singles world is the most vulnerable place of existence. There, everyone gets exploited: ladies for sex and gentlemen for money. It is a common knowledge at the sight of an attractive single lady,

men (single and sometimes married) can only think of how to have their share of the “cookies” no matter what it'll take (thanks to Steve Harvey). And of course, when a single man is hitting on a lady, most ladies can only think of how to get their share of the money.

There is escalation of lies today, with an entourage of heartbreaks in pursuit of money or sex. Everyone is beginning to wonder who's to be blame for this. The men whose lies can seize the flow of an ocean current, or the ladies whose lies can make a dead man scream in protest? Of course, the ladies will say "it’s the men!" and the men will say "it’s the ladies!”, each pointing accusing fingers with strong points of argument. Whichever way, we will get to hear stories of “how he/she used and dumped me”. And I'll ask the one trillion naira question: "Who's to be blame? You who allowed yourself to be used, or he/she that was smart enough to use you?" Exactly my point! The single world is vulnerable enough without singles being gullible just to pack into the married world.

Men have to stop focusing on their selfish satisfaction from single ladies. And the ladies have to stop focusing on their selfish gain from men. The single world isn't a permanent place for anyone, so when passing through; do all you can to make the moments count.    That way, you'll get to understand and value the true essence of the married world.
