The Love Cramped Writer.

Hello its Monday, a day to get inspiration but actually I have got writer's cramp or probably because I thinking I am falling in love and all I can think of is love. It was raining all through today and I swear the raindrop appears heart shaped. The delectable, ever serious, big 'sisterish'Ono gave me a serious work to do, so she could go study and instead of me to do inspiration as I was told I ended up doing a write up on love and called it inspirational *closes eyes*. And trust her; no love stuffs on pink journal on Mondays. Here we are; stuck in the middle of no where, actually with no post to write because love won't let go.

Understanding Buhari in 100 Days.

I am sharing this post, so that we all can understand the need to pray for our President to be imparted with the wisdom, strength, understanding etc, he needs to build a better Nigeria.

The enormously popular talk show, Berekete on Wazobia FM radio, Abuja station, told the incredible, yet true story of the hardworking and respected school teacher somewhere in Plateau state who hanged himself.

He hadn't been paid salary for seven straight months. He came home to find that no one had eaten and two of the children had medical prescriptions for which there was no money.

He sneaked out without talking to anyone.

Shou! I can't fit shout, infact I'm shouting. I got talking with some colleagues about relationship/marriage and they shared some stories which lead to this post. one of them talked about an incident that occurred when she brought her wedding IV. Some guy, that has been a dear friend burst into tears and walked out. Later, he said, he had wanted to propose to her for a long time but was bidding his time, actually didn't know how to go about it. Well, they say 'time waits for no one.' He stayed dumb and he got to watch the deaf I mean wedding dance.

In our world today, there are so many things women have reconciled themselves to. Despite that; there's still a tiny flicker of hope that one's marriage should be different. If every other man is cheating, smoking, drinking etc, one wishes hers won't be part of such. Okay, just for the record we live in a world where everyone have wants and needs but few knows which should surpass which and many are striving but few are actually thriving. Yeah! Welcome to this beautiful Thursday and another snap out of it series. We must know by now there's no perfect being on earth. No matter the public image presented, there's always something lacking/question mark. So you'll be wrong to live in so much pain or be at someone else's beck and call because of your mistake(s). I remember a story my father of blessed memory shared when I was a young girl, its a bit sketchy. It is of a man(Mr A) who slept with his late wife's corpse and was caught red handed by another man (Mr Y) in the act. After much plead Mr Y accepted to keep mute on the condition that; the man always take sides with him in town's elders meeting and do whatever he asks of him. Several meetings passed, Mr A who's known for his wisdom couldn't offer any useful contribution to the village progress because every time he wishes to say something, Mr Y will shut him down with these words "what do you want to say? Remember what happened the other night."

'There's no need trying, he isn't qualified' Roy said to himself. They needed papers for the interview and he has just the basic ones. He looked up to the sky and down on the soil in search for a way, that he believed isn't there. How many times has he been told, talent isn't enough, you need paper qualification - degree, certificate to boost the image and he just kept waiting for tomorrow which may never come.

We got Engaged! Now what?

There's an understanding that next to salvation, the greatest decision a man can make is marriage. And setting the right foundation will determine the firmness of the future family. So, After he has proposed and you have accepted and you have updated it on all your 10 social media page and have told all your friends and even the haters *winks*. Now everybody knows! what next?

God bless Steve Harvey in his book "Think like a Man, act like a Lady." Where he enumerated the duties of a man to; profess, protect and provide. That way he will gain the woman's respect. So, in that relationship, there has been moments of pain and gain; sorrow and blessings; break up and make up and together you're weathering through the storm yet the man only establishes himself.

Ejiro was known by many as the most eligible bachelor in town, tall, handsome and savvy. So you can imagine it was a pleasant surprise when he started taking interest in Gina. She enjoyed every bit of the attention, the time spent together, the envious look on other ladies faces, he sure did know how to please a lady but he confused her because he never did officially ask her out and ladies were always hanging around him. He always reassured her that they were all just friends and admirers but he never reassured her of where she stood in his life. The Distance Between the Beginning and the End.

Adaeze rolled to the end of her bed, picked up the phone and hit the snooze button on the alarm. She stared angrily at the ceiling, with much hatred for her low paying job. And above all she hated her boss; the thin man with the geeky glasses who always has something mean to say about everybody. She would never forget the day, he looked at a colleague of hers in a meeting with over 50 employees in attendance and said to her "the problem with you is that you have a low I.Q."
This wasn't the life she dreamt of having, she thought of her friends, course mates in the various stages of school who are having good jobs and living the kind of life she wants for herself. The persistent ring of the alarm brought her back to reality "Life isn't being good" she muttered as she walked to the bathroom to have her bath to start another day's work.

Ladies: Rules to Keep your Heart Safe from Heart Break Stories.

As each day passes by and one grows older and more knowledgeable, I've come to realize how gullible women are. It's ok, they are trying to grow thick skin but somehow there's need to protect themselves even from themselves, before the brothers. So, here are a few rules to minimize the heart break stories
amongst the single women flock.

1) Never fall in love until you're sure his first and last name belongs to him: Before you give your heart to a man for safe keeping, be sure you know his name belongs to him by double checking any of his documents(driving license, work Id card etc) you can lay hands on. If it does correspond with the name he has given to you, then atleast you can be sure you know how to identify the man.

Today Christians; some are like lost ship adrift on the sea with no sense of direction of where the wind is taking them. Even if they do know, they'd spend all the time asking questions why they should go in that direction, instead being valiant against any perilous change of wind. And before, they choose to pay attention, the sail has been rifted off their control which will lead to a longer voyage or a none returning one.

Ladies: Any which way, let the Man Wear the Trouser.

A dear friend of mine once had an issue between raising her children and her work. After much suggestions, I told her the only thing I've come to understand with being a woman. Our primary assignment on earth is to build the home (be a submissive wife and the best mother on earth). If a woman fails in building her home, nothing she'll achieve will be of value. And after she was able to recognize the primary and secondary responsibilities and treated them on such prioritized list, she's able to balance a successful career, her wifely and motherly duties. Although, I'm not trying to compare the woman to that of a dotting hunting dog.

What Do You Say: Can this Generation Boast of a one-woman Man?

I recently read an article on a dear friend blog and got schooled reading each sentence. After a while I got thinking if there's any one-woman man existing on planet earth? Can any woman boldly say " I'm the only woman in my man's life?" or can any man say " Its me and just my woman, no else can be as attractive to me as her?" Well, it'll be difficult to find 1 out of 10 I guess. And the 'why' question becomes a mystery. I'm actually wondering what have I got to write that you haven't read or heard before? But I just can't help as my fingers keep typing away just to remind you of what you've known and buried in your subconscious. What's the excuse? Too many attractive women around that are willing to offer the satisfaction you crave?....

Have you seen such a man
Whose great height
Makes mountains bow in shame?
Whose shoulder width
Makes the ocean roll in confusion?
Oh! The fluttering of my heart
At the thought of him
Makes the eagle fly low in awe.

When a Lady Wants More from a Man...

That awkward moment when a lady realizes she wants more from the man, she considers as a dear friend. And of course she can't blatantly go out of her way to say 'hey! I love you and .....' despite civilization ladies still haven't grown that much wings to fly. Though, I'd read on the internet sometime ago of the lady that proposed to her man. So much for the 'what a man can do, a woman can do better.' Lol! It usually becomes more frustrating when she confides in a friend who tells her "give him the green light" as if being good friends isn't much of a green light.

Lagos Lawyer Sues President Buhari Over Inadequate Supply of Petroleum Products

Lagos human rights activist and a lawyer, Kabir Akingbola has sued the the Nigerian president, President Muhammadu Buhari over his inadequacy in the production and supply of petroleum products over the past months. His suit was submitted in the Federal High Court and also named the Attorney general as second defendant.

Akingbola is requesting the court to declare that the defendants (Buhari and AGN) inability to provide the country citizens with petroleum products as a breach of 'oath of peace.' And the non-functioning refineries as a breach of Constitutional Obligation of Section 130 (1&2) under the 1999 constitutional amended.

Presently, there are reports that two of the refineries (Warri & Port-Harcourt) have commenced petroleum production.

The Delta State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal today throws out O'tega, the APC candidate motion for extension of time to file better and further information in the petition challenging the total victory of Sen Dr Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa in the Governorship election in Delta State.

I once read an article written by Dr John Maxwell and I learnt the way to climb up the success ladder faster than the fastest tree climbing monkey. A man that desires to be successful in life will learn sooner than later, if he is wise that;
* Life is a composition of good and bad days, victory and defeat, give and take. All to bring out the best in the man through his reaction towards every phase.
* There are people as ambitious as he is, have brains as good or better, less or more creative ideas. And it'll take hard work not cleverness to be successful. Just in case, your brows wrinkled in doubt; cleverness may get you success but you need hard work to sustain what you've gotten.
* The art of getting along with others depends 95% on his own behaviour towards others.

Okay! If you're reading this, a bell might have rang in your head when you read the topic, and probably wondering if you'll have to curse or bless me for the reason(s) I'll be giving. So, let's clear the air. God Servants (pastors, reverends, prophets, apostles......etc) are anointed and ordained for our uplifting. And they rose early in the morning, and went forth into the wilderness of Tekoa: and as they went forth, Jehoshaphat stood and said, Hear me, O Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem; Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper(2 Chronicle 20:20). When our problems become insurmountable and our spirit weakened and unable to uphold our faith we go to a man of God. Hold it, don't storm off just yet because it gets real interesting; Instead of always going to a man of God with problem(s), there's another option that was tried out by Hannah and the woman with issue of blood in the bible. It worked effectively all times but I believe some people are fond of running from pillar to post or from one Prophet house to another and end up compounding their problems.

Because living a civilized life has come with decadence of morals. And in the days of our fore-fathers which we call primitive times, there was much respect for morals and traditions. Today, there's a twist to everything. An upturn of events. Hmm! some may just stop reading after those few sentences like 'what crap! Lol!' Yeah. Right standing is scorned and replaced with wrong ones. Diamonds (virtuousness of ladies) are viewed as bronze (lost of virtue). Even the ones still struggling to maintain some semblance of morality have become a mockery of what we call today civilization (open-eye, as it is termed in pidgin English). And the single woman just needs to go with the flow instead of directing the flow. So, what do men expect from today's single woman?
