Do not let unpleasant circumstances define you,   rather ask God to help you take a "turn off" and redefine your circumstances, no matter how edgy it is. How will you do that?

Life Two Side Kicks - 2.

Have you ever seen a foolish man prospering? Take note; I didn’t say becoming rich but being prosperous. Because there’s a difference between being rich and prosperous. Riches is the acquisition and hurdling of substances while prosperity is the acquisition and spread of substances “Proverbs 11: 24 There is that scattereth, and yet increaseth; and there is that withholdeth more than is meet, but it tendeth to poverty”.

There has to be a down pouring for there to be an uprising. Take a look at the plants, without the downpour of rain in months, they’re dead. So is the life of a man, who thinks he/she has got it all together without having God look down on or after him/her. Too many times we fail because our confidence has been built on what we know we are capable of getting done. And too many times we succeed when our confidence is built on “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Philippians 4:13” Take note, your down pour and the sustainer of your growth comes from who or what you depend on.

In life, peoples inability to step into the shoes of what they’re met to be or do is what creates serious issues. Thanks to Uche Jombo quote “being a celebrity doesn’t change you, it only defines the ‘real’ you”. So true! Change can be an overwhelming responsibility that isn’t met for everyone to handle, especially when it comes to the spotlight.

When your Actions are Geared by Fear.

Everyman has something he’s afraid of, I have been told. Many times what one fears is usually unrealistic. And other times our fears get to unfold before us. This will probably remind you of the biblical story about a man called Job, whose fears of losing everything someday materialised when Satan decided to ask God to make his fears a reality, Job 1:12, 2:1 & 3:25.

Your Title after the Battle.

After every battle one gets a title and in the case of Christians our title is 'victory' with lots of entitlement embedded with God’s blessings which is the ultimate. The great news about fighting battles is that; your strength is considered insignificant when God is fighting for you. Note; ‘for you not with you’. God does not fight battles base on human strategy because God uses the foolish things of the world to shame the wise 1 Corinthians 1:27. In some biblical version, it is translated that God uses the weak things of the world to shame the strong. Everything is base on His strategy and ability. And victory cannot be contested.
