The Nation with Good Education.

Good education helps nations rise from the ashes. This will only be possible when what is learned is applied but in this country of ours, where many say they crammed their way through school and the teachers prefer to be bribed to give good grades, I wonder the possibility of it. Did I fail to mention poor learning infrastructure or materials? or the already unstable educational policies, standards and reforms still tend to change base on people's personal interest.

Senate Overwhelmingly Resolved that JME or "Jamb" Fees should be N2500 Naira and Result Validity for 3 Years.

Senate has unanimously resolved that the registration fee of Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) will henceforth be sold at N2,500 instead of  N5,650 which was the initial amount paid by students in the previous years and result validity should not be less than 3 years.

Kanye West Speaks on the Cost of Education, says ''I'd Rather Teachers Got Paid More and Books Cost Less''.


Kanye West has stopped his personal whinning on twitter to fight for a noble cause.

He twittered on Tuesday about how expensive the cost of education is in the US. He illustrated this by referring to his experience with a friend.

"I have a friend who works really hard and makes $370 dollars a day…" West, 38, started. "Her son just got in a really good school and his textbooks are like $400 dollars each… I mean, his mom has to work 2 days just to afford 1 book for her son. She's giving everything she has to make sure her son has a better future…"

Lagos State Government Introduces PIN for Students.

The Lagos State Government has announced the introduction of Personal Identification Number (LASPIN) to capture the biometrics of students in all public primary and secondary schools.

This is contained in a statement made available to newsmen on Sunday in Lagos by the Public Relations Officer of the Ministry of Education, Mr Jide Lawal.

How many times has he been told, talent isn't enough, you need paper qualification - degree, certificate to boost the image and he just kept waiting for tomorrow which may never come.
