Okay! If you're reading this, a bell might have rang in your head when you read the topic, and probably wondering if you'll have to curse or bless me for the reason(s) I'll be giving. So, let's clear the air. God Servants (pastors, reverends, prophets, apostles......etc) are anointed and ordained for our uplifting. And they rose early in the morning, and went forth into the wilderness
of Tekoa: and as they went forth, Jehoshaphat stood and said, Hear me, O
Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem; Believe in the LORD your God,
so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper(2 Chronicle 20:20). When our problems become insurmountable and our spirit weakened and unable to uphold our faith we go to a man of God. Hold it, don't storm off just yet because it gets real interesting; Instead of always going to a man of God with problem(s), there's another option that was tried out by Hannah and the woman with issue of blood in the bible. It worked effectively all times but I believe some people are fond of running from pillar to post or from one Prophet house to another and end up compounding their problems.
The second choice is to go to the Lord in prayers and then to His servant to share your testimonies instead of problems. Hannah in 1 Samuel 1( And she was in bitterness of soul, and prayed unto the LORD, and wept bitterly.: verse 10 ). You'll realise if you read from 10 to the end of it; you'll know the priest (Eli) reaction towards her. He was right there but Hannah choose to go to the Lord in prayer instead of the priest. At this time our Lord Jesus hasn't even died and given every man the right to come straight to the Lord. And that same 1 Samuel saw Hannah returning and this time; going to introduce herself and share her testimony with the priest; And she said, Oh my lord, as thy soul liveth, my lord, I am the woman that stood by thee here, praying unto the LORD. For this child I prayed; and the LORD hath given me my petition which I asked of him: (1 Samuel 1:26-27). The woman with the issue of blood believed in her heart and touched the Lord Jesus and got her testimony. She was not spoken to or asked what she wanted. The opportunity wasn't there like that with the lame at Bethesda (John 5) pool. And when the Lord asked, she stepped out to share her testimony(Luke 8:43-48).
There are people applying this choice and having tremendous testimony. You can still do the same. Not all problems that are to be taken to God's servants and not all time. Because the word has been given for our profiting too. And we hear God speak His word from the altar through His servants during services. (I believe the least time a man goes to church in a week is once), yet some have failed to engage the WORD. Yes, they have the knowledge but lack the wisdom(which is the rightful application of knowledge). All we hear from the altar; if we can be obedient and follow instructions, you won't need to run to men of God to share problems but testimonies and to give Prophet offerings. Hmm! Hopefully, you do understand 'why you don't need to go to a man of God to share your problems all the time when you can pray and practice God's word.' If its in your heart, the Lord will put it in your hand, My Bishop always says. Oops! its Sunday morning, we've got to go to the House of Worship and hopefully practice what we will be hearing today. Thanks for stopping by, love you for it and do well to return for Mid-day News. That's if the Lord has let us out of His presence by then. Cheers!

I like the way you coined your words. First of all, you drew me out of Stella's blog with the topic, then you made sure the topic I clicked was in view, I clicked and then your first paragraph made me read more. Nice one, but a bit too long. Got to go back to SDK blog name noted!
