Hey Lady! If a Man gives you the Dumb act, show him the Deaf Dance Part 1.

Shou! I can't fit shout, infact I'm shouting. I got talking with some colleagues about relationship/marriage and they shared some stories which lead to this post. one of them talked about an incident that occurred when she brought her wedding IV. Some guy, that has been a dear friend burst into tears and walked out. Later, he said, he had wanted to propose to her for a long time but was bidding his time, actually didn't know how to go about it. Well, they say 'time waits for no one.' He stayed dumb and he got to watch the deaf I mean wedding dance.

Now, this story isn't peculiar to these people because some men too, find it difficult to ask ladies of their choice out and we aren't going to talk about him having to propose yet but just telling the lady how they feel, is you asking the camel to speak.I believe this has been a problem from the days of our fathers and I'm wondering if psychologist and the largest search engine GOOGLE will come up with a good convincing story why some men go dumb on issues of the heart like this? They'd be so nice to the lady, but will never get to express their feelings until "water pass garri, lol!" That should remind you of Muna Obiekwe of blessed memory in the movie 'not man enough.' However, are they totally to be blamed for this or the ladies got to take a share of the blame? Let's look at it from three different angles.

Case 1: The lady might be the type that wears the long face, you know that scary look with a written expression "if you come close or say anything I will shoot you" yeah! It'll take a lot of guts to approach such iron lady. Even if they're friends, it'll be more scary because of fear of losing her friendship. So if a man does have feelings for such a lady, it will be difficult to express himself unless he is the bold type.

Case 2: If the lady is the flashy type that always sees all that glitters, the type that likes; magic men with six pac, beautiful homes and fine face with a dead mother that will not interfere in their relationship. It will be difficult for a man who does not possess any of the quality to see himself worthy of such a lady and this might make him to have a low self esteem. But then. he needs to be bold and step up. But they found what they needed in each other.

Case 3: The man might have got mixed up with the chemical reaction in his brain called "heart break" and that fear has held him bound from seeking out another lady, even though, he means well. But then most of us have had such experience and yet we got moving. And he could naturally be shy/silent type.

In reality all the cases that have just been listed are excuses! If you mean well, speak up. no matter how tactless you sound. But know when is best to go into conversation with her, be natural and no trying to impress attitude. And let her know you intend to make her happy. Who knows, you may get a great response/relationship by doing that. It'll be a good start by just getting to know each other better:

Ladies cut out the wishful search for magic men, after all some of our mothers, sisters got married to men with protruding stomach (pot-belle) and they are still living happily ever after because they are compatible for each other. A wise man once said "life is like a photograph we will need the negative to develop" so as to love, friendship and other forms of social gathering if you know what I mean! Ladies cut down on the scary costume of no nonsense look or 'I'm too good for you' make up. Give someone a break and you may get another Cinderella story.
