Valentine turned Violent Time

My Valentine’s Day was really eventful; I learnt you don't need to buy Chinese film before you enjoy a good kung fu fight or karate, or wait for Mohammed Ali’s fight with Mike Tyson to enjoy good boxing match. LOL!  I didn't want to give an explicit description, until a friend made me understand that the true meaning of this write up may be lost without the full story  and I changed my mind because people have to let Valentine's day be for love and not lies or violence.

The true essence of Valentine is fading, the beauty losing glow, and the concept channeled wrongly. Why? I'll present to you two situations:

A gentleman decided to propose to his fiancé on this day; made all necessary arrangements, only for his lady to complain of severe headache and can't go out. Well, wanting it to be in grand style, he informed his loved ones about postponing it. He decided to go out with friends after leaving the girlfriend's house. An hour later, one of his guys tap him hard and pointed towards a particular direction. What he saw, his senses couldn't comprehend - his sick girlfriend rocking away on the dance floor with another man. Of course instinct kicked in and all hell broke loose.

The best way to receive or give a gift is when it comes by surprise but some ladies today prefer to make demands, especially in this season. Unfortunately, he couldn't meet up with the demand. My dear sister wasn't ready to hear stories, broke up and was walking out on the guy in a public place when she was jacked back by her weavon. Before Jack Robinson was pronounced, she had received some dirty slaps across the face. Some men don't know the definition of gentility.

The question now is, which did you celebrate? Valentine's Day by showing love to family, friends and even the ordinary man that crossed paths with you, or Violent Time, by telling lies, cheating/deceiving others, making demands, fighting etc. All the same, Cheers!
