The Singles World II

In a previous post, we took a look at the singles world and its
vulnerability. Today, let's examine that same vulnerability in a
metaphoric way. The single's world can/should be likened to a house
with a leaking roof. Everything (the heat, water and dust) gets into
it. And if the leakage isn't mended in time, it may lead to the house
crumbling. People may think the only way to mend this, in the singles
world is through marriage, forgetting that the world of marriage has

got its own vulnerability. If you abandon a house because you can
afford to build a new one, the ruin will be waiting for you to clear
up tomorrow (can't tell how long that tomorrow will be). So, spend the
time you've got being single to mend your house and help others do
same. Yes! Be positive about life, quick to forgive, less sensitive to
every insult received, less pushing your relationship too hard, less
being easy and cheap, less being bitter, less being frustrated.
Endless list it is. When you finally leave the singles world, there
will be no ruin left behind. God loves you and me. Cheers.

  1. hmmm! simple: mend to leave something beautiful behind, to inspire those tagging behind upon marriage. Or don't and come back (divorce) to meet the ruin. Hope i got it right?
