Why are Nigerians not so Concerned about Passage of 2016 Budget?

The 2016 appropriation bill was today 23^rd of March 2016 passed by the Senate.  The controversial budget that was sent to the joint session of the national assemble by President Muhammadu Buhari, on December 22, 2015 has however not raised much recognition by Nigerians as one would have expected.

I have been viewing what’s trending on social media for quite some hours to read about the reaction of Nigerians both home and abroad but no one seems to care less or more if the nation’s 2016 budget was passed.

I thought to wonder why this lack of reaction? Are Nigerians no more concerned about what’s planned out for them or wishes not to voice an opinion especially one that won’t be considered relevant? Or they are so busy queuing up at different fuel stations or other place of needs to worry about the appropriation bill? Maybe there’s actually nothing to say just yet.

Whatever may be the issue, it is unbelievable how speechless or careless this nation is becoming.
