EX Governor, Uduaghan Expresses Shock over the Demise of Delta State First Civilian Governor, Chief Felix Ibru.

Delta State immediate past Governor, Dr Emmanuel Ewetan Uduaghan has expressed shock over the demise of the first Civilian Governor Of Delta State and former Senator Representing Delta Central Senatorial District, Senator Felix Ibru.

The former governor in a statement described Ibru as a statesman who spent most of his public life in the service of the common man.

Uduaghan also recalled the deceased’s giant strides as governor and senator, saying his wise counsel and patriotism will be missed by Deltans and Nigerians.

He described the death of Chief Felix Ibru as not only a great loss to the Urhobo Nation but also to the State at large.

He prayed the Almighty God to grant repose to his soul, and give the Ibru's family, Urhobo Nation and the people of Delta State the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
