Thief Dies After Sustaining Gun Shot Wounds.

Security system in this country is yet to match the rate of crime increase in our society today. Some days ago, a man,  Mr Eddy was robbed of N500,000 he withdrew from the bank. The robbers had tailed him to where he stopped to shop in a well known mall at Ugbeyiyi junction in Sapele. By the time he got out of the mall, his car was burgled and money taken. 

The CCTV camera of the mall was reviewed which showed the man in the picture above, simply called Chima as the culprit. The car he used was identified and the plate number noted. 

The issue was reported to security officials and those involved were on the look  out for the car. On Wednesday, that same car was spotted by the manager of the mall, who quickly raised the alarm and the vehicle was chased. 

They finally caught up with them at Jesse Junction. He and his culprit took to their heels and were shot. 

Unfortunately, he died yesterday from the injuries he sustained at the Teaching Hospital, Oghara. He has however confessed they were four that are involved in the criminal act. The security operatives are currently on the verge of arresting the others. 

His accomplice,  Moses Cyril is still receiving treatment.
