Nigerians Show how Big their Hearts are as they Help to Save People with Acute Illness.

In February, a young undergraduate, Esther Oteri was shot in the eye the night before her matriculation ceremony in Delta State Polythenic. The injury got infected and transplant was the only way for her not to go blind for the rest of her life. A concerned Nigerian and human activist took to his Facebook page to cry out for help.  And many responded by donating towards the recovery of the young lady’s health. Some went as far as going to Delta State Teaching Hospital to visit her.
Also, a woman was found with a little child with acute illness begging in Lagos by another kind hearted Nigerian, Oluwagbemi Temitope Damilola. He took to social media to express the need to help save the child’s life and put an end to his pain.

The post got the attention of Nollywood  actress Kate Henshaw, who took it upon herself to go the extra mile in finding the mother and child.
Social media came in handy as the broadcast was made again and again by bloggers and well meaning Nigerians.  Some went as far as going from one Lagos bridge to another until they were found.
Kate Henshaw and the kind hearted Damilola has been able to contact the necessary authourities and encouraged the mother not to run away inorder for the child to be properly threated.
Presently, Michael, the little baby has been admitted into Lagos University Teaching Hospital.
