In December, 2015, 12 companies, which include; China
Railway 14th Bureau Group; Alstom, Gauff Gmbh, CCECC, SREI Infrastructure
Finance, Atom Services, China Railway International Group, Sino-Hydro
Corporation, the Infrastructure Bank, China Camce Engineering, China
Rail/Medhal and Daxi SA Charleroi were prequalified to bid as developers
and operators of the rail-based mass transit for Kaduna metropolis by the state
government.
Teams from the companies are presently meeting with the PPP
team of the KDSG prior to site visits & submission of designs.
The KDSG team is led by Hassan Usman Mahmud, Commissioner of
Works and chair of the PPP committee, Alstom, Gauff, CCECC, China CRCC, SREI,
CAMCE, ATOMS, DAXI and Infrastructure Bank teams are now making comments, the
governor of the state, Nasir Ahmed El-Rufai revealed on twitter with the photo
