Scores Killed, Injured and Trapped in Overpass Collapse in India.

On Thursday an overpass under construction in a crowded business centre in Kolkata, India collapsed killing atleast 21 people and leaving about a 100 people injured and trapped beneath the rubbles according to Kolkata police.
Rescue operation is under way as both the Army and National Disaster Response Force personnel were deployed for search and rescue of those trapped.
Many vehicles carrying several passengers, destroyed rickshaws and the bloody legs of trapped people jutted from the fallen girders and concrete, AP Reports.
The cause of the collapsed will be properly investigated according to a top official of IVRCL Infrastructure Company, which was building the overpass.
K.P Rao said "We completed nearly 70 percent of the construction work without any mishap, we have to go into the details to find out whether the collapse was due to any technical or quality issue."
