This Day Prayer Focus: Courage to Paint the Grey Colour of ones Life.

Matthew 6:24 No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.


Christianity today is gradually becoming a two face walk with Christians trying hard to fit into the world's standard and still meet with the standard set before us by God. But the scripture made it clear, there's no way you can serve two masters, you must love one than the other. And of course the one that gets most of your attention is the preferred one. Today, Christians are trying to bring the world into the church instead of taking the word of God into the world. Someone told me yesterday, That Jesus should have come to judge the world but like the case of Abraham interceding for Gomorah, Genesis 18:16-33 without finding anyone to prevent God's wrath from falling on them, so is the situation today. He can't find anyone to rapture or worthy of being judged hence the delay of Christ second coming.

As outrageous as he sounded, you must give it a thought by asking yourself: Who am I living for? on what do I base my decisions? What/who propels or inspires me? These are questions we need to daily ask ourselves. Thanks to Jonathan Mcreynolds song "no grey." If you wish to be white be white or black be black. The challenges some Christians face today is because of the compromises being made, trying too hard to fit into a world we do not belong to. I'll go a little way in this direction and a little in that direction. At the end you're actually going no where. It is time for Christians to live to set standard for the World through God's word and not compromise the word with standard of the world.

Let us Pray
Steps to follow
- sing songs of thanksgiving (praise and worship) for God deserves our praise. Psalm 5:11
- study the following scriptures John 17:16, Roman 3:26, 1 timothy 6:11
- then make your supplication known to God beginning and ending with thanksgiving.
Courage to live by God's standard.
Not to think colour can only be added to your life when you live by the world standard.

Intercession
1 Timothy 2:1 First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people.

Look around you and pray for peace in our nation and amongst men. Psalm 122:6
