Governor Seriake Dickson has emerged the flag bearer of the People Democratic Party, PDP in the forth coming Governorship election in Bayelsa, December 5. Winning the election was a bit of an easy walk for him because of the disqualification of three other candidates who purchased the expreesion of interest and another candidate withdrew from the race, making him a sole candidate.
452 people were accredited for the election and he had a vote of 447.
The result was announced by the chairman of the PDP primary panel, Governor Ayo Fayose, of Ekiti state. He commended the peaceful outcome of the election and hope other parties will emulate PDP.
