Parents and the Way they Turn on their Children Sexual Appeal and Needs: From Radio Opinion Poll.

I went back to weekend radio broadcasting, where I run programs from Friday eve through Saturday. And it was quite an astonishing weekend with the things I heard during one of my call in program 'Real Situation.' I asked for people's take on 'child rape' and also where to shift this blame. This I believe will enable us know the area that needs to be worked on more for reformation. Although most people did blame the rapist, there was a bit of an argument of calling back to counter another opinion as some  of the callers after citing their take, causes (which basically psychological imbalance),  blamed the parents.

One of them narrated an incident of a 5year old girl asking him to show her that thing mum and dad use to do that makes whisper like birds. He said, he was too shocked to know what to tell the child for few minutes. And sincerely I almost forgot I was on air and wanted give a sound lecture. Anyway, parents have to be careful about the things they expose their children to, especially movies including the cartoons; what they do in their presence. Discretion should be of paramount importance. Someone also pointed out the case of the father or a relative being the rapist.

And some focus include the indecent adult dressing parents put on their children. Proverb 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it. (This also includes the rapist lacking proper home training) .The innocent children are dressed like adult with skimpy clothes, bum shorts, big hairdo and what have you. It is true they are children but a psychopath won't know that. What he/she will see is a sex toy. Hence, the need to tune it down a whole lot. And another spoke about parents being too busy to raise their children themselves. It was quite an eye opening program. The increase of child rape is alarming and there's need for everyone to look out for every child. It doesn't matter if he/she is related to you. Please parents let's raise more barricade around the innocent and never cease to pray for their safety.

Out of curiosity: If you don't want your child dressing half nude when she grows up why dress her in such way now that she's young?
