What is going on? Can someone explain this cooperative silence and seeming conspiratorial under-reporting of injustices, genocides, and violations of human rights occurring in different parts of the country?
BADIA has been demolished. Bulldozers from the Lagos State Government
have flattened the homes of thousands of predominantly poor people,
leaving them homeless at the peak of the rains and there is not any
reportage of the large-scale displacements going on anywhere? No
sympathy, no solidarity, no condemnations, no grief, no public outcry?
Is silence the new media creed? What exactly is going on?
