A Leap Over the Heap.

Jane has had all she can take from her company branch manager(BM); from sexual harassment to incompetence in her duties. And Jane knows she's hard working, so, none seems to be a good reason to boo at her except the fact she had refused to roll in the hay with him.

She'd complained about it to some other worker and that had landed her in hot soup and almost got suspended. Well, the MD will be coming to visit and she will have to file her complain. She has brought in lots of great contract to the company. And if BM won't let her work in peace, then its time she left.

Although, a colleague had warned her against it,  that BM is likely going to turn the table around and she'll face the same fate that befell the last three sales Rep. But Jane was convinced her case is different. She has being pray about knows, she leap over every heap that wants to stop her progress in life. With that firmly in mind, she filed her complain and was summoned two days later to the MD office.

On getting there, he handed her an envelope and Jane shook as she collected. She thanked him pleasantly and walked. Nothing can stop from fulfilling her destiny even if it means not having a job, all the same. Atleast, she'll have all the time in the world to raid souls for God and of course He will supply her needs. She sighed deeply as she walked passed and the Secretary asked excitedly "have you opened it?" Smiling from cheek to cheek. "No, what's the need?"

"Look at you, I thought you said you have faith? My case is different" she mimicked her high pitched voice. She is the closest to a friend, Jane has. She snatched and tore it opened. "There, oya read." Written boldly is the word "PROMOTION." She has been promoted to be the new branch manager. "What about BM?" She barely could get the words out. "Taken to a remote village."

"But how???  as in." She asked. "Go and say thank you first and I'll tell you the story." She pushed her way back into the office." It turned out, the MD had heard the complain from someone else, who knew how much she had put into the company and wanted to make sure they don't loose her.  And he has been waiting for her to formally file before taking actions. Yes! She got to leap over the heap and found greatness on the other side.

Life will put hurdles in your way, on your way to the top and it will be easy to fall, If you do not work hard enough and that includes being fervent in prayers and putting your trust in God almighty.
