I often wonder who gets to be blamed when things like this happens. Now a two year old girl gets raped by the paternal grandfather, that is traumatic enough for the heavily pregnant mother, who rushed the child to the hospital to determine the extent of the damaged. She wasn’t sure if the grandfather had the opportunity to penetrate the girl before he was caught with his fingers inside of her. However, the hospital staff saw the need to compound issues for the family.

There’s an ongoing feud between a lady and a popular blogger on social media on rape and beg antics of present day Nigerian young men. Many ladies, if not too many actually are victims of this game and the blame shifts back to them for being too trusting. A 6 year old boy is taken to the room in the absence of his parents. He is stripped naked and his genital is used to satisfy the inordinate sexual desires of paedophile aunties and maids. He doesn’t even understand, he is told to tell no one. He lives with it forever. I don't know what goes on in his mind forever. I won't even know if he enjoyed it. Maybe someone can explain how children as young as 5 get erections. But of course, it is true.

I went back to weekend radio broadcasting, where I run programs from Friday eve through Saturday. And it was quite an astonishing weekend with the things I heard during one of my call in program 'Real Situation.' I asked for people's take on 'child rape' and also where to shift this blame. This I believe will enable us know the area that needs to be worked on more for reformation. Although most people did blame the rapist, there was a bit of an argument of calling back to counter another opinion as some  of the callers after citing their take, causes (which basically psychological imbalance),  blamed the parents.
