News Update: Governor Wike Disagrees with Appeal Court Judgement, heads to Supreme Court.
Today, Appeal court upheld the ruling of the gubernatorial election tribunal in Rivers state.
The court said that Nyesom Wike, the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in this year’s election, did not conform with the electoral act and there should be a re-run.
However, Nyesom is not about to give up easily and has decided to head to the Supreme court according to a press statement released.

Kogi Elections: Results Released so far.
The candidate of All Progressive Congress, Prince Abubakar Audu won
in his polling unit 002, LGEA School, Ogbonicha/Ofeche, Ochi-Ogbonicha
Omodofa Ward 10 with 240 votes.
INEC official at the unit, Edicha Matthew, while announcing the results said that of the 654 on voters’ register, only 255 were credited.
The unit recorded only thee invalid votes as the peoples Democratic Party, PDP, was left with zero vote

Governor Dickson Wins PDP Primary for the Governorship Election in Bayelsa.
Governor Seriake Dickson has emerged the flag bearer of the People Democratic Party, PDP in the forth coming Governorship election in Bayelsa, December 5. Winning the election was a bit of an easy walk for him because of the disqualification of three other candidates who purchased the expreesion of interest and another candidate withdrew from the race, making him a sole candidate.
