Wow!!! Star Wars Breaks Records with $517million Global Sales in its First Opening Weekend.

The much talked about movie, Star Wars: The Force Awakens in which a Nigerian, John Boyega played an important role turned out to be a huge success. The movie has broken the debut record just in its first opening weekend with an estimated $238 million in ticket sales in US.
The announcement was made by Walt Disney Studios on Sunday. The film has also broken other records by reaching a grand total of $517 million globally in sales when it made $279 million internationally over its five-day of release.

A trail of other records brokened by it, includes; The first film ever to make over $100 million in one day, the largest Friday sales and the biggest December debut of all time.
