It is hereby announced for for the information of the general public ,
particularly Tricycle (Keke) and Motor -bike operators in Delta
State, that the State Government has banned the use of Tricycles and
Motor - bikes as taxis between the hours of 10:00pm to 6:00am in Warri
and environs, Asaba and Environs, as well as as in other towns in the
State.
This ban has become necessary as men of the under - world have again resorted to the use of tricycles and Okadas for armed robbery and other criminal activities in the the night and early hours of of the day.
Government hereby appeals to all Deltans to comply with this directive which is to all Deltans and other residents in the State.
Security Agencies have been directed to ensure that violators of of this directive are promptly brought to book.
