Sleep Laden Lashes

I was searching through the internet and found this poem. Reading through it, I realized we do feel this way about life sometimes. Especially, when faced with unpleasant situations. So, I thought to share.



full stops litter a wordless sky
as white flakes fall like stardust
shaken from sleep laden lashes
with darkness closing
in peaceful solitude
