Photos from Uganda Tension Election: Police Accused of Running Away with Ballot Boxes when Voters were still Casting Votes.

Many actually thought this might put an end to an incumbent president who has been in position for over 30 years. However, the short lived hope of Ugandans was quashed as rigging claims and arrest mar Uganda election Al Jazeera reports:

Police were to said to be ruthless, running away with ballot boxes when people were still voting. A twitter user shared, despite social media being banned few hours before the Presidential election yesterday.

Democracy  in Uganda needs serious resurrection.
