A Japanese actor was killed during training after
he was stabbed in the stomach with a samurai sword.
The 33-year-old
actor, Daigo Kashino met his untimely death at a downtown Tokyo studio during
rehearsal with several people yesterday, Daily mail Reports;
Tokyo
police said Tuesday that they are investigating whether the death was criminal
or accidental following his death in hospital.
Local
media reported indicated nobody was watching what exactly happened or how it
happened.
Other
members of the theatre group rehearsing with Kashino said they saw him hunched
over as they turned around after hearing him groan.
Police
didn't describe the sword or if it might have had safety features to prevent
injury.
