Argentina Football Player Kills Referee Over Red Card.

A football game between rival clubs in Argentina ended in cold blood as a  48-year-old referee Cesar Flores was shot three times in the Campo de la Ribera area of Cordoboa Argentina on February 14, the Mirror reports.

Police say referee showed the player a red card for making a heavy tackle on an opponent. The assailant, who is at large, rushed to his bag and returned with a gun and shot Flores three times killing him.

He also wounded another player, 25-year-old Walter Zarate, before fleeing the scene, as everyone scampered for safety.  "It all happened during the match," a police spokesman said.

"We don't know what happened with the referee but the player was angry and went to get his gun and killed him."

A source in the Argentine FA, during the shooting says the tragedy occurred during an amateur game that the Argentina's Football Federation might not have organized.
