American Dentist will not be Charged by Zimbabwe for Killing Cecil the Lion.

In July there was a ruckus and a rare controversy over the killing of Zimbabwe most prized lion Cecil by 55-year-old American dentist Walter Palmer.

The dentist had insisted that the hunting was legal and none was aware the traget was Cecil, the Lion.

The legality of Palmer's claim has been proven on Monday by a cabinet minister who said Palmer had obtained legal authority to conduct the hunt.

This was also confirmed by Environment Minister Oppah Muchinguri-Kashiri that Zimbabwe won't be charging him because his hunting papers were in order.

"We approached the police and then the Prosecutor General, and it turned out that Palmer came to Zimbabwe because all the papers were in order," Muchinguri-Kashiri told reporters.
