Raped at Gunpoint - Episode 6

She needed an escape route. A way to keep her mind from floating around the gorgeous man who'd come to her rescue. Sighing inwardly, she adjusted her bottom, which was already feeling the bite of the long journey ahead of them. How she wished she could afford to take a flight. With that wish came the realization the man besides her certainly looks like who can.


If so, what's he doing here?

She wondered as her mind continues to raid all the possibilities: Missed his flight, he's a camouflage, undercover cop. Efe nearly laughed out with that last thought. Too many foreign and mystery film is definitely taking a toll on her mind. Okay! get rid of him. She firmly told herself. But her mind won't comply as it continues on a merry-go-round about who he is and isn't.

One thing was certain; He was highly successful and good looking; Intimidating height, nice squared shoulders in what appeared to be a well cut suit, quickly shed off immediately the bus moved out of the park, sleeves rolled up to reveal the softest of skin with dotted brown hair. Entire posture? Superb. The type that makes a sister wished she isn't born again.What? Ridiculous, she told herself, uncomfortable with the direction of her thoughts. Because that's one wish she won't be asking for.

Uneasy, Efe glanced sideways, but he was engrossed in pressing his phone. Come off it, she scolded herself.  She needed to put a hold on her imagination. Don't spend anymore energy on such thoughts, she advised herself. Because whatever was going on through his mind, isn't what she will wish to encourage. Knowing God ten years ago was the greatest way to have escaped the series of heartbreaks suffered by her friends. Men! Such mean creature, a friend had once exclaimed. Efe had thought that would be the end of the relationship until the next day.

On an impulse, she picked up her phone and dialed her mother's number,  needing to distract herself. The phone rang, but there was no answer. She kept her gaze down, wondering if she needs to call back now or later, when the....... To be continued.
