Yesterday Came Too Late!

How many times have you wished you could turn back the hands of time, In order to do or undo some things you did wrong or wish to do right in your life? Maybe more times than you wish to admit and yet, no matter how hard you try to wish or pray, the time won’t just reverse. Rather it keeps its stead tick to the next day. Unless, you get to live in the fairy tale world, precisely the world of Cinderella part 3. Of course you’d laughed at the absurdity and unrealistic notion.  But that haven’t stopped one from wishing or praying because even when we can’t turn back the hands of time, we can get to do better with the next tick.

We all live in our perfect imperfect world where none is above mistakes and you might have heard ‘life isn’t about the mistakes you make but the lesson(s) you learnt from it/them and what you do thereafter that counts.’ I love the song ‘All of me,’ by John Legend, because it has defined the kind of relationship that should exist between lovers. However, that seems to be too much of a goal to many people in their relationships. Sometimes we get to wonder how valuable a person is to us when they are gone out of our lives. Yeah! You've heard that countless times but yet you still made the mistake of losing valuable people or things because you didn't take the time to value them for their existence in your life.

Sometimes people regret actions they took in order to be kind to another. But got paid back with pain. And somehow they wished yesterday could become today and knowing what they  do now, they won't make such mistakes again. So, says the brokenhearted woman who spent her life training a man through school, only for him to say 'she isn't good enough to be his partner' after attaining great educational height. Same is applicable to the brokenhearted man in such situation.

Remember you've got to love your neighbour as yourself (Mark 12:31) and not more than yourself. Give value to who deserves value. Work to make yourself better even when you're assisting another; Today is always here for you to avoid the mistakes of yesterday. Because yesterday came too late.

I will be taking sometime of Ono Pink Journal for now again. This is to enable me complete some project.
