Life takes a sit
Prepares to hit
A new day
Ready to lay,
hope in darkness
Moving away
As light breaks forth.
Then arose a thought
What tomorrow brings
Now that today is here
How will one know
If he fails to live through today?
The time will come
Says the hour
Yet each makes the day
The clock tick
Resounding the heartbeat.
A man's thinking
How far can it go?
A day, week,
A month, a year
Or more.
One can but live day after day.
