A delegation of the Advisory Council of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia was received by the Senate President Bukola Saraki and other Senators, yesterday. The delegates were led by Prince Dr. Khalid Bin Abdullah Al Saud.
According to Al Saud who led the Saudi delegation, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia expressed their regret over the lives loss recorded during the last Hajj exercise, even as it condemned in strong terms the activities of the dreaded Boko Haram insurgents, who have carried out numerous suicide bombings in parts of the country, killing many and leaving other injured and homeless.
Pointing that both countries are faced with a similar challenge of terrorism, he pledged the readiness of the Saudi Arabian Kingdom to collaborate with Nigeria in curbing the menace of insurgency.
