AIG In Adamawa State, Abubakar Jinjiri is Dead -Police.

The death of  AIG Abubakar Jinjiri has been confirmed. He died on Friday in the capital city of Adamawa State, Yola, according to ACP Olabisi Alofe Kolawole, the National Police Force Public Relations Officer, who spoke with news men.


"[AIG] Jinjiri died on Friday after a brief illness," the spokesperson said. She added that "he was buried yesterday."

ACP Kolawole also said that his replacement has not been announced and that formal announcements can be expected in the days to come.
