The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) of Sapele are in serious controversy over who will be the Commissioner to represent Sapele Local Government Area. Many of the top politicians which includes the likes of Hon. Godwin Atose, Hon. Joyce Overah, Hon.Austine Ayemidejor, Hon. Paulinus Akpeki are all in the struggle to gain appointment with the present administration.
Delta State College of Physical Education Provost Admonishes Staff.
The provost of the College of Physical Education, Mosogar Prof. Emmanuel Ojeme has admonished his staff that there is need for all hands to be on deck in upgrading and raising the standard of the school including that of the Demonstration nursery/primary and secondary schools. He stated he will not entertain any form of lobbying, backstabbing or being manipulative in order to gain a right standing with him. His vision he emphasized was to built an institute of sport that will be a force to be reckoned with in the entire nation. And that has delighted the entire staff that are willing to work to attain the set out goals.
A Gift to Self - Perkins Mukoro and Ofua Ovwighose.
The secretary of the Sapele Local Government Council who runs a flourishing pure water company, Perkins Mukoro got himself HIGHLANDER JEEP. And Ofua Ovwighose gifted to his wife a KIA motor car shortly after their marriage.
