CCT Postponed Senate President Bukola Saraki’s Corruption Trial as his Lawyers Challenge Jurisdiction of Tribunal.
The Senate President, Bukola Saraki trial which was scheduled to hold today at the Code of Conduct Tribunal has been postponed by one week. This twist of turn was as a result of the submission of an application to the CCT by his lawyers under the leadership of Kanu Agabi.

Senator Shehu Sani Blasts those Condemning the Government, Calls them Noxious and Venomous.
The Senator representing Kaduna Central Senatorial District, Mr Shehu Sani took to social media pages to lash out at those who deem it fit to commend an administration that's on the wrong path and condemn the one that is on the right path. He referred to them as noxious and venomous to good governance. However, his words only infuriated more condemnation from his followers.

Court of Appeal Sacks Sen Amori, Orders the Swearing-in of Omo-Agege.
The Court of Appeal
has sacked Senator Ighoyota Amori, representing the Delta Central district in Delta
State under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). However, the Court has
now ordered that Obaisi Ovie Omo-Agege of the Labour Party (LP) be sworn
in after a long election petition tribunal leading to the Appeal Court
decision.

Former EFCC Boss Ibrahim Lamorde, Drags Senate, IGP and DSS To Court
The former chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Ibrahim Lamorde, on Thursday challenged the powers
of the Senate and the Senate Committee on Ethics, Privileges and Public
Petitions to invite him to appear before them.
In an originating summon filed by Mr Keyamo, Mr Lamorde is asking the court to determine whether the Senate can invite the former chairman to appear before them as a person whose conduct of affairs is being investigated by them in relation to issues concerning the office he vacated.
