Nigerians Slip on Life Jacket after Swimming Half Way across the Sea.

Oh dear! I love this country and her people, especially their strokes in swimming almost half way across the  sea of uncertainty without a life jacket. Despite the turbulent waves and deadly creatures that have drowned many, they’re still keeping on. Hopefully, they’d get to the other side without more mishap.

The Unfortunate Predicament of a Dispassionate Leadership.

After reading about the various havoc created by Fulani herdsmen in different part of the nation, I realise how the dispassionate attitudes (not influenced by strong emotion, and so able to be rational and impartial) of Nigerian Government has become towards the masses. Of course, it is becoming clearer on daily basis on whom we should rely on. Definitely not the government or the uniformed people put in place to protect Nigerians.

Dear Nigerian Government: Reform the Deformity Caused by Uniform Men.

You might not have experienced the depth of poverty that has eaten deep into this nation, what the masses had to do inorder to survive daily. But I believe you have a good idea and have been properly informed but chose to turn blind eyes and deaf ears because you’re not directly affected. You have probably forgotten the reason the masses voted you into power in the first place. To restructure and reform a decaying nation.

The New Robbery Tactics Using Keke in Warri and Governmental Issues Resulting in Riot.

My heart aches when I hear about what the masses are being subjected to in this nation of ours. Where other nations are busy paying their citizens benefits, ours is busy milking the masses dry. Recently, Udu Local Government in Warri Metropolis, Delta State asked all women into sales to be paying N150 every day. It doesn’t matter what you’re selling (hawking). You will pay even if all the interest you made that day is just N150. The women of course are protesting seriously against it but with the various elements at work in the government will their voice be heard? Besides, with what tricycle riders did they are today, buying tickets N200 each day, despite the fuel troubles.
