When, why and how did this Issue Ensued???

The photo above tells clearly the acceptability of the act of comedy in the church is presently a debate. And some people believe it is outrageous and shouldn’t be encouraged any longer. Before I share others opinion with you I’d like to remind us:

Proverbs 17:22 says: A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones. I do understand, there should be some bounds and proper choice of words should be used but that doesn’t make comedy abominable. Besides, this uptight attitude is what makes some Christians to doubt their salvation. Let’s cut some slack and remember the Lord is the Judge.

As shared by Kenny K’ore: It is a BASTARD child that would make his father the object of mockery, and comedy, right in his father's presence.

Of this, I am fully persuaded. "A son honours his father and a slave his master. If I am a FATHER, where is the honour due ME?

If I am a MASTER, where is the respect due ME?" says the LORD Almighty..."-Malachi 1:6.

There was such a sanguine in the Bible, Ham, who saw his father (Noah) lying naked, drunk, and thought it was good material for a joke.

Ham's son Canaan got cursed as a result.

All the comedians making MONEY off of BLASPHEMY, (speaking sacrilegious, irreverently, about GOD or sacred things), are CURSED.-Genesis 9:22-27. Except they REPENT. "No one can serve two masters. For you will hate one and love the other; you will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve both GOD and money."-Matthew 6:24.

We all have penchant for humour, even when humour is not our objective, but the single purpose of a consummate comedian is to cause laughter.

He would not hesitate to lie, to mock, even blaspheme, whatever it takes to connect with the audience.

A comedian can be categorized with a prostitute, and a thief.

When a man blasphemes the Name of GOD, and HIS Hallowed Word, in a so called Sanctuary dedicated to GOD’S honour, such a man is a PROSTITUTE.

The Churches prostitutes with mammon, when they claim to be the bride of Christ.

When people come to fellowship with the Holy Spirit, unto edification and maturity in the spirit, and you give them a comedian, you're a THIEF. "My message and my preaching were not accompanied by clever, wise words, but by a display of the Spirit's power,"-1 Corinthians 2:4. "But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let them be under GOD'S curse!"-Galatians 1:8.

Attaining the whole measure of the fullness of Christ, that's what the church is for.-Ephesians 4:11-13.
