Aloneness!!!

"An idle mind/brain is the devil's workshop/playground" is a popular saying which describes the nature of ALONENESS which in turn is the basis of wondering mind/thought.

The first thing that God declares not good is Aloneness: "It is not good that man should be alone". This same reality bore the institution of marriage (Gen 2:18-25): A companionship/togetherness was born. Thus, the moment either Adam or Eve was alone, the Devil had a chance to engage Eve in deep thought; and everything turned around (Gen 3).

It is when you are alone that your mind engages in different (pleasure seeking, positive or negative) thoughts that may shape or ruin your entire life. From the mind comes evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, coveting, wickedness, deceit, sensuality, envy, slander, pride, foolishness. (Mk 7:21-23).

Endeavour to avoid being which transforms into loneliness and boredom through socialization with/in good company.

It is said, “Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked,
Nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers;
But his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on his law he meditates day and night”. (Psalm 1)

In their Loneliness, those who live according to the sinful nature have their minds set on what that nature desires; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires. The mind of sinful man is death, but the mind controlled by the Spirit is life and peace; the sinful mind is hostile to God. It does not submit to God's law, nor can it do so. (Rom 8:5-7).

Set your mind therefore also on the Spiritual things.
