The Ink that Link Destinies.

There was a time when the only well known noodle was Indomie; biro was Bic; milk was Peak; sardine was Titus; phone was Nokia etc. They were considered ‘the real deal’. To some people which I believe should be a large number, those products still are the best despite the numerous brands in the market today.

The part that amazes me is when one cooks another brand of noodles and ask the child what he or she is eating? And the reply you get is ‘Indomie’. They and even some adults still see and refer to every other noodle as Indomie. Of course, Indomie is a brand of noodles which is presently the ink that links every other noodle in the market.
This is as a result of how they’ve chosen to brand their product even with the fierce competition; they still maintain their stand as one of the best noodles. And we live in a society where people will rather buy ‘brands’ instead of ‘products’. One man’s venture will give room to that of many others. Majorly to improve on what is in existence if they can. Ask manufacturers of nokia phones, I believe they can tell what it looked like with the invention of Samsung and Samsung to tell about Blackberry or Techno.... Peak Milk to speak on Hollandia, Ladha and others. Improvement being the key.
Enough said about how branding tends to link the recognition and use of products by people. With that understanding I hope you’ll flow with me when I say the ink that can link the different brand of men destinies are just in two forms; the law of the world or grace.
Attention being the most essential commodity in the world, people tend to brand their lives either according to the life another is living or as seen on TV not according to how grace has defined and given value to their destinies. Gotv captured it in four words ‘Live it, Love it’.
Let’s get this clear. The law of the world is easy to break and was meant to be broken. Moses showed a good example of that when he broke the tablets on which the Lord wrote the laws on (Exodus 32:19; And it came to pass, as soon as he came nigh unto the camp, that he saw the calf, and the dancing: and Moses' anger waxed hot, and he cast the tables out of his hands, and brake them beneath the mount.) “And he gave unto Moses, when he had made an end of communing with him upon mount Sinai, two tables of testimony, tables of stone, written with the finger of God Exodus 31;18”
Moses had to re-write the law himself, And he gave unto Moses, when he had made an end of communing with him upon mount Sinai, two tables of testimony, tables of stone, written with the finger of God, Exodus 34:28. This was so, because of the people’s heart hardened way of life.
The only way to mend the brokenness permanently is through grace; which has been freely given to man to fulfil destiny not based on his ability but on the Lord’s grace in Christ Jesus Ephesians 4:7; But unto each one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of the Christ. In essence; whatever one does based on the effort of man has got an expiry date. Just so you remember, so is the world we live in today. Cheers!
