So is the life of a man, who thinks he/she has got it all together without having God look down on or after him/her. Too many times we fail because our confidence has been built on what we know we are capable of getting done. And too many times we succeed when our confidence is built on “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Philippians 4:13” Take note, your down pour and the sustainer of your growth comes from who or what you depend on.

The need to address psychological issues/emotional instability (depression, substance abuse, personality disorder, phobia etc) has become a focal point in determining individuals’ wellbeing because the world is evolving and people psychic is changing. We live in a society today where men's comfort is dependent on the acceptability that women are to help shoulder their responsibilities. It doesn't matter if the shoulders are wide enough or well muscled to handle this.  However, that won’t be a big deal if some man hadn’t added the role of his woman been a punching bag to show how manly he is. Afterall, the bags in the gym feel no pain.

It is not about what you have but what you do with what you have. The cassava stem that produces one or small  tuber of cassava and the one that produces big and more than one tuber during harvest were planted in the same farm, received the same care and had access to same soil nutrient. Could it have been like the way some homes were when growing up, one gets to eat together with other siblings, you must learn to eat fast, be watchful and turn your mouth to cooling van when food is hot or you’d be left unsatisfied.

The ticking of the clock indicates the world still goes round in the usual gradual process. How? A tick makes a second, more gives minutes that makes up the hours, days, weeks, months and years. It all begins with a tick. So are the seeds in one’s hands that need to be sown and let to germinate and grow into a tree/plant to bear fruits which can then be harvested. First thing first, sow the seed; it is never about the small size.

Manchester United Fans: Is this asking too much?

I normally don’t do this but that doesn’t mean there won’t be exceptions like this one, especially when no one is asking. Recently, a terrible incident occurred in a football viewing centre in Calabar  during Manchester United and Anderlecht match . As usual social media users and media outlets helped in making the whole world become aware of the sad incident that killed over 30 viewers when a high tension cable fell on a viewing centre. Manchester United acknowledged the incident with a tweet and also sent their condolences to the family of the bereaved.

My old schoolmate shared photos of her aged grandparents that wowed me with these words “Today, my people crush are my grandparents. They have grown old in grace, in health and in joy. A man’s prayer is always the lifting from ‘grass to grace’ never the other way round. This naturally, has made and is making too many Christian retarded in their thinking and lazy to work. The grass has got its benefits too. Don’t forget, it is food for animals. And I’ve been taught the animals (ruminant) that feed on grass have a very special way of eating; the habit of not completely chewing the food but rather partially break it down and swallow and after a while, they settle down to chew (chewing the cud) before letting it back into the stomach for digestion.
