I normally don’t do this but that doesn’t mean there won’t be exceptions like this one, especially when no one is asking. Recently, a terrible incident occurred in a football viewing centre in Calabar during Manchester United and Anderlecht match . As usual social media users and media outlets helped in making the whole world become aware of the sad incident that killed over 30 viewers when a high tension cable fell on a viewing centre. Manchester United acknowledged the incident with a tweet and also sent their condolences to the family of the bereaved.
However, some fans think they didn’t do or haven’t
done enough. They can do more than twitting about it, suggesting they build a
permanent viewing centre in memory of the deceased. Now will that be asking too
much as suggested by other fans?
