A Piece for my Heart's Peace - 13

Dear Agofure motors and others within Sapele town, Delta State: The deafening public announcement/music that blast through your address system early hours of the morning is creating unrest in the minds of people and injuries to the ears.

A Piece for my Heart's Peace - 11.

Previously on A Piece for my Heart's Peace click here. Sometime ago, an upcoming secular music artist faked his death so that his fame could spread within the nation and probably abroad/promote his songs. And I wondered what act of madness could that be? Little did I know I will be jolted out of my wonderment with the realisation of how much people tend to celebrate the dead.

A Piece for my Heart’s Peace - 8

Last week on A piece for my heart's peace click here. I’ve had a hard time settling for the topic to give my mind peace because too many are warring to be talked about. As I am writing, I’m not even convinced this should be the angle to view today all the same I’ve got to seek for some peace.

Rotation of Church Service Notation.

In many church services, worshippers are always fond of writing down the preacher’s notable points. It is arguable quite a large number of people don’t go back to study the notes because too many of them are writing to fulfil all righteousness or they don’t bother because they believe it is same thing they’ve heard and written time after time.

Riding through the Rough Road of Tough Decisions.

How rough can things get with tough decisions, it won’t matter after reading this article to help you find a balance in a world where it has become too easy to destroy rather than build;  to live on past glory rather than improve on it; to be the centre focus without the need to utilise full potentials;

The Reformation of the Mind for Outstanding Transformation.

The transformation of a man’s life is based on the reformation of his understanding through the word of God. Because the more attention paid on God’s word, the less the worldly troubles becomes Joshua 1:8. The revealing of God through His word, it’s what unveils a man’s destiny. If you then, do not know what to do with your life, you’re yet to find or study your bible.

Church Member Threatened GO and Workers with Machete to Return his House Documents he Used to Sow Seed.

Happy Sunday everyone, I've been battling if I should share this story or not but on a second thought I realised there's need to. I've heard about Christians who sow seeds and end up complaining about how they were presurised or persuaded and I'm like "dem put gun for your head." Seed sowing is a great way to express your love for God and you sure will prosper (1 Kings 3). So, for you not to loose the blessings that comes with it, you must have a conviction from the Holy Spirit and the faith before giving. Okay! I've preached my part, let's get down to the story. But do understand I'm sharing this so that you can be wise as a Christian whether you're just a member or the general overseer (GO) of the church.

When God seems not to Answer your Prayers.

I know that feeling you have of having prayed and fasted enough; praised and worshiped enough, sowed seeds and given sacrifices, yet things are not going in the direction you've asked God. You expected by now you should be touching the sky yet, you can barely lift your hands; you should be riding high yet you can barely raise your legs. And you are beginning to wonder what else you need to do. Of course, you have no doubt that there's God but where's He now that you so needed Him? Becomes a question that plague your heart.

Sunday Letter of Thanksgiving to God, On Behalf of Humans - Praise.

Dear God,

We can't just thank you enough for your love you keep showering upon us. You created us for your glory and honour. And today; some of us have publicly acknowledged that but privately despise you for the little things

Sunday Sound Words.

- Today's work will define your tomorrow's worth.

- Assumption breeds misunderstanding. Ask questions! Do not assume to know the answers to questions you haven't asked.

- Sometimes we wish for stars, unaware we are stars and there are people wishing for us. Discover the you in you and celebrate

- Your life won't/can't please everyone, neither will your death displease everyone. Live and be happy for you!

- A little bit of me and a little bit of you is what makes a WHOLE lot of us. Who you are and what defines you is not who I am and definitely may not be what defines me. Our uniqueness is what add colours to life.

- Let your past be your teacher and don't forget, your past is history; your present a gift and your tomorrow a mystery

- Sometimes right; sometimes wrong are the lessons of life being taught. Don't despise you, just keep learning and living. You will/can be better.

Relationship
- Don't love anyone to the point of choking them. Give them space to breath and live. They know you care without being possessive and selfish

- You mean the world to me, he/she says to you. Do remember that includes the wild forest zone. So, ask which part? The deep blue sea or the mangrove swamp forest?

- I can show you the world, doesn't mean he/she loves you. Wait until you become his/her world. Cheers!

Put On Praise 1

It is another Sunday of the second month of 2015. What an awesome privilege to be awakened by the sound of the birds perking on my window seal and that of frogs calling from a nearby drainage. LOL! Yeah! It’s a beautiful Sunday. So, straight to the house of God I go. And this is me inviting you to join in giving God praise for the wondrous works He has done. Remember the proverb "if you think your alarm clock is what woke you up this morning, try putting it beside a dead man”.
If you want to shake up things, see doors open and chains break, then give God praise in spite of whatever circumstances you are in.  May our lives be filled with His presence as we praise Him. See you in church. Cheers!
