I must say that Nigerians have very good sense of humour or should I say her government? I may be quite young but I believe we don't need the elders to tell us when a man intends to kill a bird perched on a tree, he will aim at the bird, not the tree branch at which the bird is perched? Well, I need to ask and I hope I will get an answer soon.

I got this mail last night from Felix Okotie  which detailed what conspired between soldiers and protesting women in Ovre Eku, Ethiope East Local Government Area of Delta State last week Wednesday and the account that led to it. This is in complete contrast to what was said by the Nigerian Army which I published yesterday. The Delta State Oil Producing Area Development Commission, managing director; Chief Williams Makinde has handed out the threat and warning in an interview made available to Comr Harry Odafe  stating that any false report made on the PRINT MEDIA, SOCIAL MEDIA and ELECTRONIC MEDIA against DESOPADEC or against him, would not be taken lightly as he would ensure the person or organisation is taken to court to face the wrath of the law because he has tolerated enough.

Fayose Accuses Buhari of Deceit, Says Govt. Can’t Deregulate and Regulate Same Time.

This is according to PREMIUM TIMES: The Ekiti State governor, Ayodele Fayose, has called on Nigerians to pray especially for President Muhammadu Buhari, saying, "the president needs God to give him the necessary wisdom to be able to find solution to the country’s economic and security problems."

Nigerian Army Parades Oil Thief Gang in Bayelsa.

The Military operation which is known as"Operation Pulo Shield" on Thursday,  paraded an oil theft gang made up of five members.

It is believed the gang operated in the Sangala creek a waterway located in the Ijaw Local Government Area (LGA) in Bayelsa State.

Nigerian Government to Reduce Price of Petrol to N85 Per Litre From 1 Jan, 2016

Oil ministers says Port Harcourt refineries said to begin production next week.

Government would on January 1 next year reduce the pump price of the Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) to N85 per litre.

Removal of Fuel Subsidy: What Nigerians did not Know.

On removal of fuel subsidy; if this policy succeed it will be the twelfth time fuel price has charged since 1993, where fuel price has changed from N11-N97 in 2012. During OBJ. regime it was changed up to 8 times. If this policy succeed Nigerians will be spending above N150 to purchase a liter of fuel.

DESOPADEC Commissioner representing Ughelli South, Udu, Uvwie, and Urhobos of Warri South, Chief Amos Itihwe yesterday paid sympathy visit to young Uruemu Omoko, son of Mr Felix Uruemu who was involved in a very serious Kerosene explosion in Ujevwu, Udu LGA.

Increase the Height of the Pipe Used for Gas Flaring - Sapele people calls on SEPLAT.

The people of Sapele have called on the oil and gas producing company, SEPLAT to increase the height of gas flaring because of the negative environmental implication and effects on the health of the people.
