The impact of a weapon isn’t usually on the size or the shape but the force put into it by whoever wages it. Of course, weapons aren’t necessarily used to commit crime, fight battles but also to invent, build and make the world a better place and turning it to a tool, depending on whom and what the mission of such a one is.
Too many times we are more conscious of what we do not have
than what we have to turn our lives in the direction God is asking us to go,
Exodus chapters 4 to 11; tells the story of Moses ignorance of what he
considered to be a staff (rod) was actually the weapon to bring an end to the suffering
of the Israelites. “As for you, lift up
your staff and stretch out your hand over the sea and divide it, and the sons
of Israel shall go through the midst of the sea on dry land, Exodus 14:16 and
21; And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the LORD caused the sea
to go back by a strong east
wind all that night, and made the sea dry land, and the waters were divided.”
A weapon has a double edge use which is as a thing of
inflicting bodily damage and a means of gaining advantage or defense. Situations
will tell you which it should be as it did in the story of Moses (Exodus 14) and
David in 1 Samuel 17:49 “And David put
his hand in his bag, and took thence a stone, and slang it, and smote the Philistine in his forehead, that the stone
sunk into his forehead; and he fell upon his face to the earth”.
Some of us already have our mission defined out for us but
still confused on how to bring about the manifestation. And have tried on our
own and failed. Now is time to search for what you have in and with you. Moses
knew his mission but until he asked the Lord what he could use, which was already in his hands, he set his mission aside. And I will ask you “why will you continue to
struggle to be self-made when you can be God-made?”
It is in and with you. And remember, the might of it can’t be
determined by the size. Have the most fruits bearing day and week. Always remember
I love you and will keep you in my
prayers. I hope you do same for me, our nation and the world. Cheers!
