There was a time when Christian possesses “both a good sense of humour and deep spirituality. Now, there’s little or nothing except a sense of themselves, a sense of what will get them on television and the public eye”.
Many in the guise of preaching prosperity message have developed the “tongue
of commerce, the language of the market place and making excuses for the
weakness of the flesh”. Not to mention the miracle flame that seems to draw
many to church instead of the deep sense of fellowship and worship. Of course!
I wouldn’t fail to mention the fact that many have become prideful and full of
deceit as the politician accused of graft.
If God’s work is done (miracles) it is through His grace only. Everyone
is chosen by God, Isaiah 61:1. Christians have become too familiar with God
that it breeds contempt. You are salt and light Matthew 5:13-16; you
give taste to men and light to the world. Deal with men with this understanding
in Christ Jesus. You’re a miracle to the world, stop seeking for what you’ve
already been made. Such search will only make you a victim instead of the
victor you are.
That's the status of every Christian, 1 Peter 2:9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a
peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called
you out of darkness into his marvellous light: Such miracle you are! So, don't wait for the
organised prayer time. Authority is
given to you, exercise it. If you say nothing, God will do nothing. The
testimonies that will not allow you to fall as a Christian are the personal
ones you encounter. Seek God and He will guide you to live right and get rid of
the naturally coarse human mind.
